Mark Harden's Artchive Bohrod, Aaron
Classie Lassie
1944-5

Caption from Life magazine, April 30, 1945:

"Melting into the ground the first day in St. Lo, Americans beside their 'Classie Lassie' reconaissance car react speedily to a bursting mortar shell across the road from the ruined cemetery office. The German guns were 'pin-pointing' the town."
